GSI owns and operates three major data centers in the Kansas City area and has been singled out by VISA as an example of "best practices" for our data center facility operations. All of our centers support the operational protocols necessary to meet the toughest industry standards – PCI, Sarbanes Oxley, HIPAA, ISO 17799, COBIT, COSO, SAS70, etc. Our Physical Security Policies, Disaster Prevention and Protection Plans, Fiber Capacity & Core IP Network & Bandwidth facilities, Environmental Controls and Conditioned Power were configured to create world-class hosting facilities.
Our facilities comprise more than 100,000 square feet of raised floor space and feature world-class infrastructure, including the most advanced power, security, network and fire suppression technologies available in order to ensure reliable and continuous operations. And we complement our state-of-the-art facilities with state-of-the-art physical and logical security processes, as defined and audited by the most stringent standards bodies. And, as stated above, we own and operate our centers. That means we’re responsible. No sub-leasing or third party involvement that you only find out about when there’s a crisis.
In fact, we encourage potential clients, large and small, to visit our facilities. Our attention to physical and logical security detail and our commitment to our clients is clear when we give tours of our datacenters.
